Bamboo Products Manufacturing Process

Material Selection

Choose mature bamboo,at least 3 years old, with a straight grain, uniform thickness, and no cracks or insect damage. It is then cut down and transported for initial processing.

Cutting & Treatment

The bamboo is cut into required lengths.To prevent mold and cracking, it undergoes treatment. This often involves boiling in water or heating to remove sugars and sterilize the material.

Shaping & Carving

The treated bamboo is split,flattened, or bent into basic shapes. For intricate pieces, artisans hand-carve or machine-cut detailed patterns and designs onto the surface at this stage.

Assembly & Joinery

Different parts are assembled using traditional joinery techniques like mortise-and-tenon,or secured with bamboo nails and eco-friendly adhesives. This step builds the final structure of the product.

Sanding & Polishing

The assembled item is carefully sanded with progressively finer sandpaper to achieve a perfectly smooth surface.A natural finish, such as beeswax or lacquer, may be applied to enhance durability and sheen.

Quality Check & Packaging
